Gungun is a popular female anchor in the Odia television and film industry. She holds an experience of over 15 years in anchoring and have hosted more than 30 reality shows. She is also a dancer, actor, and producer. She has worked with 92.7 Big FM consistently for over 3 years and is currently working on several music videos and movies. She has also worked as a voice-over artist for numerous Govt documentaries, commercials, and IVRs for Reliance and Idea network. Her passion for dance made her a finalist of Dance Dhamaal, a celebrity dance reality show on ETV.
She has won prestigious awards like Tarang Cine awards, ETV Cine awards, Banichitra Cine awards, Chalachitra Jagat awards, Chitralipi awards, etc. She has delivered a Seminar on career opportunities in the field of Event and Entertainment. She has also been a speaker at We Care Film Festival and Kanak’s Women Day Conclave Ananya. She has hosted international events like the Asian Athletic Championships 2017 opening and closing ceremony, Internatonal Doctors’ Conference RSSDI 2017, and POSA Abu Dhabi Maha Milana. She has also hosted a show in Kualalampur(Malaysia) for SLB company. She has anchored at an international conference on meta computing hosted by a leading institution Lakshya, ICC World Cup 2015, Men’s Hockey World Cup Dotfest 2018, Men Hockey World Cup 2023. Not only these, she has also voiced at an international 3-day seminar on Laxmi Purana and its launch at the Central Sanskrit University by Hon’ble Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
